Vicki Corey is a legal assistant with over two decades of legal experience. After attending Eastern New Mexico University, she began her legal career in San Antonio, Texas, with a large firm concentrating on personal injury and social security disability cases. She relocated to Nashville, Tenn., after her son was accepted at Vanderbilt University and joined the Vanderbilt Counsel assisting them with various issues including negligence, malpractice, estates, probates and negotiating with insurance companies. During her time with Vanderbilt, she created and implemented policies and procedures utilizing the Victim’s Compensation programs to benefit patients as well as the University.

Vicki went on to accept a managing position with a top bankruptcy law firm. Due to her networking skills with the judges, trustees and local legal schools, the three-office law firm quickly became the top filing bankruptcy law firm in the Nashville area.

In 2015, Vicki relocated to Wisconsin to be closer to her family and spend time with her grandchildren. She joined Abt Law Office in August 2015 as Legal Secretary. In addition to assisting the clients and staff, she works on the Vernon County mental commitment and guardianship cases.

In her free time, she enjoys her four grandchildren, reading, photography, horses and spending time outdoors.
